Dr. Kinette Richards, PhD, NCC is the owner and operator of Creating Space Equity Consulting, LLC, a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, LLC.
She is an award-winning mental health professional and EDI practitioner, advocating for marginalized communities and equitable spaces. She holds a certificate in Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Northwestern University and a certificate in Leadership from UC Davis. She is a co-founder and Vice Chair for Social Justice Connect (SJConnect), a non-profit organization, which has developed a website for social justice events.
She has extensive experience in both the mental health and EDI spaces and is committed to working across differences to train and open dialogue on equity issues.
She holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver, and a Doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Denver. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, where she teaches graduate courses in the College of Education for school and counseling psychology students.
